Description
The 158,900 acre Carson-Iceberg Wilderness has varied topography with 12 prominent peaks exceeding 12,000 feet in elevation. This area is part of the Stanislaus and Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forests. Rugged granite peaks and boulders, steep ridges, and long valleys with meadows are typical. There are a few lakes and the headwaters of several rivers in this area.
